I have mild acne and dry skin. I%26#039;m in a wedding in three weeks and really would love to shine. I drink tons of water anyways, so more isn%26#039;t going to change much. What are some sure fire ways to clear up your face?|||Okay since you have dry skin get a moisturizer. Make sure it won%26#039;t clog your pores and is made for the face. It would help to get one with sunscreen in it so you kill two birds with one stone. Also for the active acne use either benzoyl peroxide or salicyclic acid. You can use them either in a wash or as a cream that you apply. Do not overwash your face once or twice is enough. I don%26#039;t use toners and I really don%26#039;t suggest them. Though I see it unlikely to have clear skin in a week, you will see results if you take care of your face but in a week you won%26#039;t get clear, trust me I%26#039;ve tried. I am actually on prescription benzoyl peroxide and I am on my third day with it and it seems to help. But I%26#039;ve heard that the condition gets worse before it gets better so if you experience that don%26#039;t give it! It will get better. I hope your skin clears up!|||I drink lots of water. But, in the morning I use Cetaphil followed by clean and clear gentle skin astringent. Before you wash your face, splash some hot or warm water on it to open up the pores. Then, wash. Now, splash cold water on it to close the pores and keep the dirt from coming inside. At night do the same except with clean and clear foaming facial wash.

Although I had a friend whose skin was really bad due to spicy foods. I don%26#039;t know if you eat spicy foods but if you do, maybe you should try avoiding them for now.|||It may cost a little more but I would go get a facial. They will help target the exact problem. Over the counter problems may be to harsh to not harsh enough. you need something just for your skin.
