How do i get rid of oily skin without drying it out?

i have oily skin and my face is always shining after like 5 minutes. how do i get rid of it without drying it out too much.|||apply papaya pulp with a pinch of salt|||You have to find the right cleanser for your face. I have oily skin, but most products dry it out waaaayyy too much. I use Keep It Clean by Avon and then their skin conditioner called Nutress (I think that was the name...it is in an orange bottle also and is part of the Keep It Clean family). Don%26#039;t worry, I don%26#039;t see Avon. LOL|||Yeah i have the same problem..Use a cleanser and then a toner, its helps exfoliate (clearing away dirt and dry skin, use OIL FREE MOISTURIZER after that, buy oil free blotter wipes you%26#039;ll find it at the pharmacy/drug store and use during the day to wipe any excess oily thingy on ur face but leaves the natural moisturize on ur face that%26#039;s needed. Repeat these steps morning and night. In summer i know it gets worse repeat steps like 3times a day...By this way it keeps Ur face oily free and moisturized while preventing any breakouts which is common for our skin type...good luck|||Use a good oil control face wash , Neutrogena (oil control face wash ) or the more gentle cetaphil face wash. The tea tree oil face wash from body shop can also be used. A non alcoholic toner can be used. Use face blotting tissues to remove excess oil from the T zone and around your nose is where you get very oily patches. More cheap, effective and natural home remedies for oily skin at the link below.|||My advice...Stop the breakouts and use something that is actually good for your skin. I have been using Nu Skin Clear Action庐 and it doesn%26#039;t compare to any other. My skin chemistry changes all of the time and I still never have a problem.

It will help prevent and clear up existing breakouts and will not dry your skin out at all. It is very effective on blackheads, red skin, and there aren鈥檛 any shiny effects.|||OILY SKIN

HOW TO IDENTIFY IT: Looks slick and shiny within an hour after cleansing. Oil seeps right through makeup.

Cleanse: Use gel, liquid cleanser or an oily-skin cleansing bar no more than two or three times per day-morning, night and after school or sports. Over-washing won%26#039;t stop oil flow, but it can irritate skin, says Diane Berson, M.D., associate professor of dermatology at New York University School of Medicine.

Tone: A salicylic acid formula once or twice a day helps reduce oil and keep pores clear, advises Berson. (One to try: Clean %26amp; Clear Oil Controlling Astringent.) Apply with a cotton ball, concentrating on T-zone-forehead, nose and chin.

Moisturize: Choose an oil-free, non-comedogenic (non-clogging) formula. Dot on drier areas only-around eyes, on cheeks-and gently blend. If skin looks or feels slick or oily, you%26#039;ve overdone it!

Troubleshoot: Apply a 5 percent benzoyl peroxide cream or a salicylic acid formula to breakout-prone places to prevent blemishes. Are zits more than an occasional occurrence? Skip to %26quot;Blemish-Prone%26quot; for more clear-up info. A clay mask once or twice a week helps dry up oil and remove dead surface cells. Creamy cleansing grains get a twice-a-week OK.

Makeup: A water-based, oil-blotting formula minimizes shine. Sheer paper face blotters remove oil and leave makeup intact. Invest in a blotting blush and powder too.

Extra Advice: Keep hair totally clean and use only a lightweight lotion conditioner. Best style bet-off your face!|||Don%26#039;t forget that what you put in your body shows up on your body, too; in this case, the complexion. I try to keep to a simple diet, just water and juices, no artificial sweetners and not a lot of processed foods, nothing too high in fat. Especially if you drink a lot of water, you shouldn%26#039;t have to worry about your skin drying out.

The difference in my skin from when I was a teenager and had a steady diet of Mountain Dew and Doritos and the way my skin is today is dramatic.|||.|||try oil blotter sheets. you can get them from all sorts of companies, like mary kay. or if you%26#039;re cheap, just get some white tissue paper and cut it into 2x1 inch sheets and do it yourself! they%26#039;re great for picking up oil on your face!|||i wish i knew! i%26#039;m super oily after like 5 minutes too! during the day i usually use witch hazel, the clean %26amp; clear oil blotters.

i actually heard that those toilet seat covers that are in public bathrooms are really good for blotting oil, so i tried it. they actully work pretty well at getting the oil off your skin. that%26#039;s if you%26#039;re in a public restroom %26amp; your desperate to blot your face! : )|||Mary Kay has a really good facial routine that helps with oily skin..

they have the cleanser, the night and day cream, the moisturizer, and all of these are specified for your individual skin type... it works great! i use it.
