What's the best option for minor skin issues?

I%26#039;m 23 and have minor acne scarring on both temple areas, as well as a small area of hyperpigmentation on one cheek. I%26#039;ve read about microdermabrasion and other techniques, as well as over-the-counter treatments. What procedure or product is best for these minor issues?|||Are you still breaking out? First you need to stop the breakouts, then deal with the scarring issues and pigmentation.

Accutane is the ONLY cure for acne. All other medications will manage the acne, but as soon as you go off the medicine, the acne comes back. I know there are alot of warnings about Accutane, but with a good dermatologist watching you carefully, you should be fine.

You also really do need a good skin cleaning regiment.

Microdermabrasion is really a glorified facial. It will make your skin feel smoother.

As far as the indented scars, you can have them filled with Restylane or a similar product. There are also lasers that are spcifically for acne scars and pigmentation such as the Fraxel laser.

Using a bleaching agent on the pigmentation will also even out you skin.

I have used Resylane for about 5 years for my scars. I have them filled about twice a year. I also use Scar Guard SCAR LIGHTENER for the pigmentation. I have better looking skin now that during my teen years.

I hope this helps
