Is it true that people with oily skin age less?
I have oily skin and always get annoyed over it but people tell me it%26#039;s good because it won%26#039;t age nearly as fast as other types of skin.|||This is actually true, those who have oily skin is more likely to age less than those who have dry skin. So if you think all that oil on your face is a bad thing, you%26#039;ll thank it when your older.|||Well, you%26#039;ll still age, as far as internally and how old you are, but you won%26#039;t have as many wrinkles. Usually as a woman gets older and reaches menopause her skin starts to dry out so any wrinkles you have are easier to see. I can give you an example of the oily skin bit...my mom just turned 50 years old this past month in August...but her face doesn%26#039;t look a day over 35 years old. Her skin is quite oily, she still gets acne and she has reached the early phases of menopause (irregular periods, hot flashes, etc).|||I dont think so, at least that cant be the only factor, my family has pretty normal/dry skin ( me nor my dad have gotten a pimple to date) age 54, 19 respectively. and my parents aged pretty well, people still think my dad is in his early 30%26#039;s my mom the same|||I would think that oily skin was probably more moisturized than dry skin, so it would make some sense as moisturizing is important for anti-ageing|||I don%26#039;t think so, but you probably won%26#039;t get as many wrinkles compared to someone with dry skin.|||That is true if you are young now.|||I never heard that!|||Of course not!|||no
