How can I prove beauty is more than skin deep?

Someone can be beautiful on the inside as much as they can on the outside. Just think of the qualities that makes someone good that are not physical. Are they caring, compassionate, helpful, generous; do they go out of their way to help others, do they give 100% in everything they do, are they intelligent, speak kindly of/to others, do they only look for the good in others, etc.?

There are a lot of qualities that can make someone beautiful on the inside.|||The only way is to make sure that the person you are trying to prove this to meets the real person first, im guessing this is about a bf/gf if they were really meant for you then they would be around to give you the chance but if it is like a bet with a friend and you are trying to prove a point do somethink crazy !|||You can try but it proble wont work because people are programed to see whats on the out side rather than whats on the inside.|||if you mean that skin deep means personality wise, then.....make sure the person knows you. otherwise, i dont get you|||you can%26#039;t|||What do you mean by skin deep?

How to apply foundation and makeup on Mature skin?

Hello All,

I would like to know how to apply makeup and importantly foundation on mature skin? What foundation not to use and what kind of foundation to use? Can I use creme foundation on mature skin or is it restricted to liquid foundation? And should I stay away from shimmer eyeshadows? and just stick w/ matte eyeshadows? Thank You so much for the information.|||if you mean by %26quot;mature%26quot; wrinkels i would stay away from cream because they will stick into your wrinkles. with liquid foundation, i don%26#039;t know if you have oily or combo skin but you can go to sephora and they%26#039;ll match you up! if you have acne or anything like blemishes, i would get yourself matched up at clinique.you can also use powder (mineral) foundation. For example, Bare Escentuals has a new matte foundation that will work if you have oilier skin. don%26#039;t use if it you have dry because it usually make your dryness dryer. Make sure if you try foundation in a store, that you wait for a little while to make sure they don%26#039;t stay in your wrinkles or in any places like by the nose. yes stay away from shimmer eyeshadow leave that up to the younger folks. matte eyeshadows are really not for %26quot;older%26quot; people anybody can use them but shimmer is just more for the younger folks because the shimmer would look kinda weird.

Why is it when a guy masturbates, the skin down of their eyes gets darker?

This is totally true, i myself have seen it a thousand times, whenever i jerk off, specially 3 times a week, the skin lower of my eyes gets darker. But when i don%26#039;t masturbate for like a week or more it gets shiny and back to the normal skin color. Why is that? Thank you!|||Masterbating is good for you. I don%26#039; know why this is happening. Drinking lots of water and getting lots of rest can prevent this.|||i myself have never experienced such a phenomena, i think your being a little paranoid about your dirty little habits, whatever it may be, as long as it doesnt hurt or bother you, its fine i guess|||That explains why I get dark under the eyes no mater how much i sleep. maybe it has something to do with the blood rush. sorry for a bad answer had to put in my .02|||its hard to say I usually dont look in the mirror when I do it although I have taped myself then watched the tape but I cant seel the eyes too well. I guess I will have to pay closer attention. I will do it over lunch and get back to you|||Wow, you could be a scientist, noticing stuff like that. No clue, sorry.|||lol...

maybe it%26#039;s the funny anguished/euphoric faces you%26#039;re making... stressing out your capillaries

those circles also have to do with sleep deficiency... are you perchance wacking off %26quot;deep%26quot; into the night....|||i dont think so tat it happens....|||the rings under you eyes is from lack of nutrition, not waking off. try beating you meat but eating lots of veggies, you%26#039;ll see.|||Masturbation has nothing to do with it. If you blow your load three times a week, which is the minimum in my book of life, then your eyes get that dark crescent underneath. This is caused by those funny looking Chinese faces we all make right before we blow the roof off.|||I was going to say maybe it%26#039;s the blood rushing there but I guess it goes elsewhere( much lower).|||i never look in a mirror while im masturbating|||maybe you have a fatal skin disease.

What kind of things help sun-burn and skin peeling?

I got pretty badly burnt about a week ago all on my shoulders, chest and legs. I%26#039;ve been using after-sun and moisturiser but I was wondering if they%26#039;re was any other helpful things out there.|||Any moisturizer with aloe vera!|||Aloe|||sunblock, sunglasses, jackets, and umbrellas|||White vinegar. Just pour some on a towel and lay it on your burns. It really works.|||i find that palmers cocoa butter (lotion kind) works great for extremely dry skin.|||The key to getting rid of the burn is to release the heat from the skin, aloe straight from the plant is great to release the burn, any product that you buy from the store that has aloe in it will clog your pores and make it impossible for you to release the heat or the %26quot;burn%26quot; Try this Native American trick that works very well. Get some regular tea bags and brew them on the stove, after they cool, place the cool, wet tea bags directly on the burn, the tea will absorb the heat. If you don%26#039;t want to use that many tea bags, you can brew the tea, and dip a washcloth in the brewed tea mixture but, you need to know that it will stain your washcloth and it%26#039;s not as effective. As for the peeling, any kind of lotion that will help keep your skin moist will reduce the effects of peeling. Your skin peels when it dries out and dies.|||Aloe, either straight from the plant or the clear aloe gel.|||aloe vera gel it help and its natural do not get the menthol one that will burn alway green|||Moisturize at least once a day to try to prevent or minimize peeling. If your skin starts to peel a little bit, I would just cover it with moisturizer and that helps short term. It%26#039;s better than trying to remove the skin because if it already doesn%26#039;t look bad, why make it worse?

If it does start to peel a lot, keep moisturizing, and exfoliate once the skin isn%26#039;t so tender.|||just lotion in general. And drink a ton of water. the more you skin is hyderated the better it will take the sun and the less it will peel. Just keep doing what your doing and remember water water water.

What should I do to even out the skin on my shoulders, due to peeling?

Do I have to tan them and wait for them to get an even skin tone again? Because I have white blotchiness from them peeling. What do you suggest I put on them?|||You have to wait it out. If you put tanning lotion on it the skin will be darker where it is peeling. Just wait. You can use a gentle exfoliant to take off the dead cells and then use tons of lotion to make it not so dry. Hope this helps!

How to wash off UV Body Paint from Skin and Cloths?

Basically went to a UV bubble party and got covered in UV bubbles from head to toe. We have a UV strobe light at home and even after scrubbing with a hard brush the stuff still wont budge. Even when I try scratching it off with my finger nail, it wont come off!

If anyone knows abit about this product and any soap I could use to remove it, info would be a great help.

How do i get rid of the scaly skin on my legs?

My legs are soft..... they just dont look it. They seriously look like crocodile skin. Lotion won%26#039;t help.... do you know any other ways?|||I have the same problem have you tried oatmeal lotion, I also use body wash w/oatmeal and shea butter from st.ives, and if you take really hot showers that won%26#039;t help that robbes your skin of moisture.

Try, baby oil.

Shea butter is suppose to be really good for your skin, so if you can get something w/that in it, it should work.|||If you moisturize everyday to every other day with the suggested lotion it will work. Thank you and Good Luck Report Abuse
|||Lotion is good to use, but if you%26#039;re having trouble with the %26quot;scaly%26quot; look, then i would recommend going to a spa and treating yourself to a body polish / mud wrap.

This will literally exfoliate and hydrate all of the skin on your body and leave your skin not only feeling soft (which you say they already feel soft) but also looking smooth and healthy.

It%26#039;s a bit pricey...but well worth it.

The spa I go to, this type of thing costs $85|||you need to take a warm bath with moisturizing oil, like Avon skin so soft bath oil and soak for at least 5-10 min. Then take a loofah or any abrasive bath mitt and apply some creamy body wash, like Olay with mousturizing ribbons and start sloughing off the dead skin. dont scrub too hard, but spend a while doing this, about 5 min on each leg top to bottom. Then AS SOON as you get out of the tub and PAT DRY, apply a good rich body lotion that is specially formulated for extra dry skin. I love avon skin so soft lotion. Dove makes a good one too- 24 hour moisture formula. you should see a difference right away. Good luck! and stay MOISTURIZED!!|||I had a problem with dermatitis and the steroid the doctor gave me didn%26#039;t work. I used a lotion my wife had and it worked great. It%26#039;s called Falling in Love by Philosophy. I used it in the morning and at night before bed. I can%26#039;t even tell where the dermatitis was. We bought it off QVC, but you might find something better for your condition on their website. What is the best way to remove dead skin after being sunburnt?

use a sugar like scrub in the shower. as soon as you get out slather on a thick, moisturizing lotion or body butter. that way your skin will heal. it wont heal when its dry. it has to be moist.|||exfoliate and moisturize.

Good body scrubs can be found at walmart, target, etc.. you don%26#039;t need a super expensive one.

Also, use a washcloth in the shower with the scrub for extra exfoliation but again, don%26#039;t forget lotion after you scrub so you keep that new skin moisturized.|||Apricot scrubs %26amp; other exfoliation SCRUBS are really bad and will just harm your skin.

What WILL work is taking a towel and moving it up and down , while applying pressure. This will remove ALL dead skin [must be done in shower]

After, dry your skin %26amp; put lotion.|||any apricot scrub, or anything that has scrubbing beads :)

Is working in excessive cold bad for your skin?

I work in a dairy freezer. it is 35 degrees in there everyday.i work right under the blower in a closed in section so i really feel it even though im bundled up.|||Well, yeah, excessive cold air blowing on you can cause your skin to become really dry, and even break. Try using a daily moisturizer all over your face and body, and reapply a bit during breaks. Use chapstick regularly. Also, in the morning, you should exfoliate your skin with a scrub of some kind to shuck off dead skin cells.|||it can dry your skin out and cause skin problems from over drying. exfoliate an moisturize

Can the heat from a heater make your skin darker?

Like how the sun makes people darker.|||Yes it can if you put the heater directly on the skin. It%26#039;ll hurt but soon your skin will be very dark.|||Oh, good grief. No. It%26#039;s the suns RAYS that darken your skin. NOT heat---neither from the sun or from a heater in your house.|||No.|||sure if you stand real close and let the heat burn you, then you scar and sometimes it%26#039;s dark...sometimes pink or light beige...try it and see how dark you can get....or pink...

Anybody knows a home remedy for a cat skin infection?

My cat has a skin infection in the outer ear which is been going on for a couple of months. To me it looks like a fungal infection. The skin looks very raw and has a black discharge that forms a scab. I have cleaned the area with cotton wool and water a few times but the scab always come back and never seems to heal properly.

I am worried but I have no money to bring the cat to the vets and I would like to try to cure it at home.

Any idea of a home remedy to treat skin infection in cats please?|||You really need to see the vet-- there IS an ointment-- it%26#039;s a prescritoin ointment that only your vet can prescribe,, I think your cat has a bad mold infection -- and it will take a while to get rid of it -- my cat had one-- the vet%26#039;s ointment worked but I had to use it for a month.

PLEASE call and take kitty to the vet -- or the ear will get MUCH worse. See if the vet takes payments--|||I%26#039;d try to find a vet that will work with you. It shouldn%26#039;t be expensive at all - just a vet visit and some prescription ointment. Maybe antibiotics.

You shouldn%26#039;t mess with this at home because, for one thing, it sounds fungal and for another, with the location by the ear, you do not want any infection spreading.

It%26#039;s very treatable right now but it won%26#039;t stay that way. And please don%26#039;t take any home remedy advice you get. This is a no-brainer for a vet visit.|||Are you in the UK?,If so and your on benefit%26#039;s the RSPCA.or Blue cross will help you with treatment. Please don%26#039;t leave your cat suffering. If you cant afford this %26quot;small%26quot; treatment how will you pay if something big comes up??????????maybe you should consider re homing the cat so it will at least get veterinary treatment should it ever need it again

Its only fair on the cat you should be able to provide it with treatment when needed. Why should it be made to suffer because you haven%26#039;t provided any care for it. I hope your neighbours don%26#039;t report you to the RSPCA for not getting it treatment. You MUST be seen to be doing something other than concocting up treatments. If you have a computer .SELL IT and use the money for your cats treatment.|||You can%26#039;t cure something if you don%26#039;t know what it is.

It could be a fungus, a bacteria, an allergy, an abcess or something much worse such as cancer.

You need to get your cat to the vet and have the problem diagnosed befor you treat it.|||If your cat is white or very light in color, it is at risk for skin cancer which causes the ear area affected to turn black and fall or crumble off. This must be diagnosed by a vet. You need to find a low cost clinic in your area for proper treatment.

Good luck.|||Black discharge / scabs tends to indicate ear mites. Your cat will be scratching because you are not treating the problem.

It would be kinder to take your cat to a vet to be properly diagnosed and to be given the right treatment.|||I would clean it with alcohol or peroxide twice a day (being careful not to let any get into the ear canal) and then put vaseline on it. If your cats eats the vaseline (licks at it) it won%26#039;t hurt him.|||if you try getting some vege oil and putting a cap full in his food everyday, that helps alot with skin problems on cats and dogs...

What should I eat, apply, not eat, not apply and not use to improve my bad skin condition?

I am a 20 year old man. I am of black african but my skin is not really black, I am light skinned maybe like wood. I have a problem because my skin has spots caused by pimples and other stuff I do not understand. What should I eat to keep my skin spotless and good looking? I avoid margarine and everything close to it. What else should I avoid. What should I eat to be spotless and good looking. Are nuts good?|||It could be dangerous to take advice from someone who can%26#039;t actually see your skin to determine the problem. Go to the doctor and get the educated opinion, it will be worth it for you in the long run. Good Luck!|||You should eat fresh fruit and vegetables and drink lots of water as your skin reflects your diet and lifestyle. At 20 hormones are also contributing to your spots. You should use cleanser daily to keep the pores clear. A spot cream applied at night should help clear up spots and pimples faster. Nuts are oily and you should eat them only occasionally.|||If it%26#039;s acne, then diet actually has a lot less effect than people think - basically eat a healthy balanced diet and you%26#039;ll be fine. Use gentle cleaning agents and avoid harsh soaps and anything that might be an irritant - fragrances and stuff like that. Moisturisers wont help the acne much but might help other stuff - use non scented low allergenic kinds. Also there%26#039;s plenty of OTC things for pimples, but if you%26#039;re trying those and it%26#039;s not helping then doctors can prescribe much stronger stuff.

As for the other skin conditions - basically all of them avoid skin irritants but other than that you need to get them checked out.|||no, nuts are one of the worst for your skin.

however, these spots will disappear gradually. it%26#039;s the effect of Propioni bacterium acnes.

That%26#039;s a usual problem in many young adults.

My belly button is darker then my actual skin tone. How can I just lighten that area?

I always scrub it and I%26#039;ve used cocoa butter creme but nothing seems to lighten it. Its always been darker basically all my life and it doesn%26#039;t bother me as much but i would prefer for my skin tone to be even because a dark belly button isn%26#039;t too cute.|||Lemmon juice is a natural skin lightener. Will my body leave stretch marks and flabby skin as i lose weight?

Im 19 and recently put on a little bit of weight during the past year. Im working hard to get it off and its working but im worried that my tummy and legs will leave stretch mark scars and flabby skin on my tummy as i lose it. Is my skin still elastic enough to go back to normal?|||If you lose weight too fast, yes.|||Skins pretty amazinga ctually. its the largest organ in the body and its pretty flexible.

Stretch marks depend on how much weight you lose and how fast you lose it. Losing a large amount of weight very rapidly can leave stretch marks.

however regular exercise and correct diet can mean no stretch marks since the body has time to adjust to the change in body fat index.

Simply put check with a physician and a dietician first for a more accurate answer as well as tips which you can use to make your exercise routine and diet more efficent.

Take care and best of luck with your health.|||Normally it won%26#039;t unless u do a hell lot of weight training! Where ur skin stretches and relaxes.

Have a healthy diet and do free hand exercises if u don%26#039;t want marks.

And also get an oil massage occasionally.

Best of luck.

And ur skin is still elastic enough.|||If its just a Little bit of weight. Maybe not.

But if you can see some stretch marks. They might stay. Cause Ive lost weight but I still have stretch marks on my sides. And you wont get flabby skin. If you are exercising you might get some mussel in place of the fat.

How do you get rid of really oily skin?

My husband has such oily skin. We have tried every kind of facial cleanser and seriously nothing works. He does not have acne so any kind of acne face wash only temporarily dries his face out but then his body overcompensates and makes more oil! By the time he comes home from work it looks like someone has spread crisco on his face!!! Do you know of any face washes creams etc that work for oily skin? Do you think he may just need to see a dermatologist? Any tips are appreciated! Thanks|||I%26#039;ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it%26#039;s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I%26#039;m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I%26#039;ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It%26#039;s unique cause of it%26#039;s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn%26#039;t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.|||Going to a dermatologist would probably be the best way to figure out the problem with his oily skin. I%26#039;m kind of the same way but not as extreme. I%26#039;ll take showers at night and wake up the next morning with greasy hair and an overall greasy feeling all over. Is he by chance of Hispanic descent?

x x x|||Hmm well I had the same problem recently. I have bangs but when they started getting longer it was easier to keep them away from my face. So if you have bangs, try growing them out. Also I drink a lot of water and eat salad - those are good for your skin. And I use Clearasil (sp?) and then I use Clean and Clear Advantage Anti-Acne moisturizer. And that helps. Also wash your face often, and with some pressure. Always wash your face with warm water because that opens pores so you can easily clean them out. Then put a damp cool washcloth over your face. That closes your pores so oil and dirt can%26#039;t get in. They also make concealer that has acne medication in it. Hope this helps, and good luck! Also, looks aren%26#039;t everything. How do you get rid of the loose skin after having a baby?

I%26#039;m asking this here because everyone in the fitness section suggests surgery. when i had my son the skin went right back into place. four months ago i gave birth to a daughter and have also been losing weight since her birth and the loose skin is not going back from where it came. so my question is, is how did you tighten back up your tummy after your baby was born? and please no mention of surgery. i%26#039;d rather live with the skin!|||i checked out the book banish your belly butt and thighs and followed the excersizes religiously, and sometimes the meal plans. i lost a lot of weight a nd firmed up nicely....then i got pregnant two more times...so back i go again to the book|||I asked my doctor because I only gained weight around my tummy and a bit in my thighs (they touch now!). My son is 3.5 months and I haven%26#039;t been able to exercise yet because my hips and back still hurt, but my doctor said to go for walks, then jog, then maybe run when I feel like it. Also to have a healthy diet (ha, I%26#039;m a junk food addict!) and to drink water instead of juices and soda. He also said to work out my abs slowly, by doing crunches. Since I have back issues, I was allowed to do crunches on an exercise ball, which eases the pain. It takes time, and I still have 15 lbs left to lose. You might not be back to normal completely but it%26#039;ll be better than it is now.|||Sometimes it can be a question of genetics too. I have had two kids and my belly is not so good. I%26#039;m still looking for a way to tighten up the skin, (maybe if I had some stomach muscles too it would help, lol) if you find a way that works and is easy (I%26#039;m lazy, maybe that%26#039;s the problem, lol) I%26#039;m there, yay!|||i was wondering exactly the same thing

How can I get smooth and clear skin?

I%26#039;m 19.

I%26#039;ve got black heads on my nose and chin and I%26#039;ve tried everything and it doesn%26#039;t work. I%26#039;ve got like skin coloured spots on my cheeks, it%26#039;s like a spot under the skin (I almost never get proper spots) and I have no idea how to get rid of them. Please don%26#039;t suggest expensive products as I can buy them, I%26#039;d prefer things I could do at home with things around my house.|||1. Step One: Run your cloth under HOT water. Immediatly put it on your face and press onto it. The water (and steam) will really help clean out the dirt in your pores.

2. Step 2: WASH YOUR HANDS!!! Even if you don%26#039;t go through with this for a week, you can%26#039;t wash your face with dirty hands. You%26#039;re putting all the germs on your hands onto your face, which sadly, won%26#039;t get you anywhere. If you have a cleanser (you can just use neutrogena foaming facial cleanser, its decent and $4), wash your face after you remove the cloth. But this time you apply the cleanser without wetting your face first. So you would make a tiny %26quot;puddle%26quot; in your hands and squirt the cleanser in the puddle and put your hands together and wash your face. Don%26#039;t rinse your face in cold water afterwords, just rinse in warm water and PAT dry, but not all the way dry. This is obviously your cleansing part. If you don%26#039;t have cleanser, then just drink 3 cups of water, trust me it helps ALOT.

3. After you wash your face, get about 10 drops of lemon juice on your hands. Smear on your face for 10 seconds, but be CAREFUL: lemon juice is strong and if it burns only keep it on for 3 seconds. It breaks down the dirt in your pores that the cleanser missed. This is your %26quot;toner%26quot;.

4. Now we get 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir so its like a thin paste, and add one more tablespoon of sugar. Stir again and drain out SOME of the water. Then get your hands wet and then rub them on your face so you have a little bit of water on your face. Then scoop up the sugar and water and put if on one of your cheeks. Scoop again and put it on the same cheek. Then rub the sugar in circular motions on your cheek for 60 seconds. Then rinse off and repeat for the other cheek and forehead. This is your exfoliator.

5. For the next part, take your toothpaste (it can be the blue gel kind if you want, like crest, this one actually works best). Put a pea sized amount on your finger and smear onto your cheek and leave it there for 4 minutes. Repeat for the other side too. After 4 minutes rinse off in warm water, take your hands and run warm water and rinse off the toothpaste. Your face should feel nice and refreshed, and your face will feel cool, like its %26quot;breathing%26quot; for the first time, like a deep deep clean. This is your spot treatment.

6. Some of us have ance, but not pimples. So if you have bumps that aren%26#039;t whiteheads, like they%26#039;re red and WATERY, not filled with pus, which is totally different. If you are sure that they are just water filled, than scrape off the TOP skin, and squeeze all the water out. I know, you%26#039;re used to hearing %26quot;dont pop it, don%26#039;t pop it!!!%26quot;, but since it%26#039;s water filled you have to trust me. Squeeze all the water out of the bumps, because the water is infested with bacteria, who%26#039;s population DOUBLE EVERY TWENTY MINUTES, so if you have 1440 bacteria, in an hour, you%26#039;ll have 11,520 in ONE HOUR, so squeezing help to get out the bacteria. Then you can smear the toothpaste on and leave it on for 30 seconds, and rinse off. You%26#039;ll wake up the next day and have no idea that the red bumps were there in the first place! I guarantee it! This is a second spot treatment.

7. Last but not least, splash cold water on your face. The reason this is last is because if weren%26#039;t following directions earlier and splashed cold water on your face, your pores would close. Water and pores is like a key, hot water unlocks, cold water locks. Doing all of these steps with open pores will get almost all of the dirt and bacteria out, thus keeping your skin clear. Do this everyday for a week will bring you happy healthy pretty skin!

[edit] Tips

* Depending on your skin type, you might not get clear skin in a week, but your skin will look better.

* Do this AT NIGHT, right before you go to bed. When you sleep, the stuff that was on your face will take full effect, boosting power.

* Drink at least 5 cups of water a day to flush out toxins and extra oils.It will help boost the effect.

* Keep your hair out of your face! And don%26#039;t use any makeup that covers your cheeks, forehead, chin, or nose, so only eye makeup. If you use foundation it stores even more bacteria. And besides, when you try this for a week, you won%26#039;t need any! Show off your new and improved face!

* It also helps if you exfoliate in the morning and night, but don%26#039;t do any of the other things more than once a day of you%26#039;ll mess up the routine.

* Even when you get clear skin, its a pretty good idea to stick to this routine every night so you can be sure that you%26#039;ll keep your skin clear. After a while the routine doesn%26#039;t seem like much (it really isn%26#039;t) and you%26#039;ll be looking foward to it!

* Don%26#039;t forget, you still are wonderful and amazing person even without the world%26#039;s clearest skin! Don%26#039;t forget, don%26#039;t compare yourself to models and people on TV, because their faces are caked with makeup. NOBODY has super flawless skin. It really is litera|||Have you tried those exfoliating hand gloves, they work wonders. just put a little bit of soap on it and gently scrub your face. do this about three times a week, no more otherwise it takes out the skins natural oils and lot of layers of dead skin so your skin might start to flake or be very dry.

You can buy them anywhere like boots, superdrug, tescos, sainsbury%26#039;s practically anywhere. and they cost about 拢1-拢2.50 Good luck|||1. Be healthy! Exercising regularly gives you a beautiful healthy glow, and can actually improve the condition of your skin! Drink lots of water (8 cups a day) to help your skin to be healthy, and try to eat healthy, too. For example, don%26#039;t eat loads of fatty, greasy foods like fries and burgers.

2. Go to a chemist, supermarket, or beauty shop, and buy make-up removing wipes, cleansing lotion, toner, moisturizer, and facial scrub. Make sure you get them for your skin type, eg. sensitive skin, dry skin. As long as it is a reputable store, their own brand should be cheaper, but the same quality as expensive brands.

3. Wash your face with WARM water every morning. Then, clean your face with the cleanser. Rub it in circles all over your face for about 30 seconds and rinse off. Pat your face dry with a towel and apply toner with cotton wool. Apply moisturizer after the toner( while skin is still damp with toner). Next, apply your make up.

4. Take off your make up with the wipes every night before you go to sleep. Wash your face with cold water again, use toner, and moisturizer.

5. Make an emergency zit kit including a zit cream that has salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide, a cream that reduces redness, a concealer stick, and translucent powder (the powder should absorb excess oils on your face). Of course, this is completely optional, but very useful.

6. Wait a few weeks; you should notice that your skin becomes smoother and clearer!

7. Remember if all else fails, go see a dermatologist. Ask about Acutane as well (it works like a miracle! But there are side effects, though. They depend on the person and their body).

Tips

* Drink lots of water (8 glasses a day) to help your skin to be healthy, and try to eat healthy too.

* Make sure your hair is always clean because grease from your finger or the front of your hair could be making your skin oily.

* If you have spots, don%26#039;t pick them or squeeze them. Leave them alone. However, some zits need to have the cover or %26quot;top%26quot; to it taken off. But please, don%26#039;t overdo it. Don%26#039;t tear up your skin trying to get the top off a zit! If you gently squeeze after doing so, the pus will come out of the zit, unclogging the pore. After you do this, put the cream or gel with the benzoyl peroxide in it on top of where the zit used to be. This can possibly clear a zit right up!

* Try this quick fix for your blemishes! Obtain equal parts water and baking soda, and mix it together! Apply with a regular-size Q-Tip directly on the pimple. Do not rub in. Will dry zit and decrease redness. After mixture is dry, apply a toner/cleanser/moisturizer. This is optional, but can help your skin feel smoother.

* Make a routine. Exfoliate once a week with normal skin, and twice a week for oily. This keeps the skin fresh and helps to reduce black heads. Also try using a facemask once a month.

* If you have oily skin use a bit of vinegar mixed with water, seeing as the vinegar can be too strong. Rinse your face with this mixture 2-3 times a day. May burn around infected areas and zits and/or pimples.

* Try not to touch your face, the oils from your hands can easily clog pores.

But then again, who wont get cancer in like 20 years from now. I know that AnswersTV discusses Cancer and the different types, so I guess that could be a start.|||There are 3 types of skin cancer. Actually all cancers are the same but they grow at a different rate .

1. Basel Cell Skin cancer is the most common and grows the slowest.

2. Squamus skin cancer grows faster than the Basil cell and it can invade especially around the neck and shoulders. My hsuband had a tennis-ball sized malignant tumor removed from his nrck wjich was caused by Squamus. The Dr. removed his perotid saliva gland, his neck muscle, and lymph glands. The 33 radiation treatments destroyed his thyroid and took away his sense of taste, also giving him dry mouth. You cant fool around with skin cancer!

3. Melanoma is the fastest growing and is very often fatal.

What is the best foundation for oily skin?

i dont care about the price, i just want one that actually works and absorbs oil. ive tried a lot and my oil seems to take over it so i always end up wiping it off..help PLEASE!|||No foundation. Its the worst makeup product known to man. Its hard to wash out of your pores too. It takes many washes and scrubs to get rid of it. Just washing if off at night only gets whats on the surface off. It doesn%26#039;t come out of your pores easily so when you put more on it gets even oilier and builds up. I suggest using other products besides makeup to help the oiliness. If you need to cover up a blemish use concealer and only put it on the blemish and blend. Then apply powder and blush. Powder is the best for oily skin. I have some what oily skin and this is my routine. If I skip even one step my face gets gross.

Morning:

Wash my face with Noxzema facial cleanser with a wash cloth(make sure you only use the cloth for your face)

Put Neutrogena Alcohol free toner on with a cotton pad.

Light weight moisturizer( I then blot my face a bit with a towel to get the excess off)

Makeup for my face

concealer for my dark circles and for any blemishes if I have one (skipping this step doesn%26#039;t make my face oily though)

Translucent powder(I%26#039;m very pale though. If you darker skinned then use one that is your skin tone)

Powdered blush (Don%26#039;t use the cream. it just clogs your pores more)

Then whatever I want to do to my eyes and lips that day

-----I do use those little blotting towels once a day though. But I go outside a lot. If I%26#039;m inside for most of the day then I don%26#039;t need them. ---

At night

Neutrogena grapefruit scrub(Don%26#039;t rub too hard or you will irritate your face. Just lightly massage for about 30 seconds to a minute)

Then I repeat the same step I did in the morning.

Once a week I wet a tea bag containing either green tea or black tea and then cut the bag and put the contents on my face for about 10 min. Then wash off.

Once a month

I use a baking powder mask. I mix baking powder with water then apply to my face for 20 min. Then I rinse or wipe off gently. Don%26#039;t scrub it off or you will make your face raw. You might even mix 2 colors together to get your tone. stay in the same hue. like if you get a dark, get it with honey undertones, likewise the lighter. mix it til you get the color that matches you.

You might be better off , getting a proffesional consultant. google marykay or some brand %26amp; find someone in your area that%26#039;ll save you money in the long run %26amp; they should stand by their stuff.........|||I recommend hitting up a department store, which sells quality cosmetics. Go to a counter (such as Lancome) and ask to be color-matched. Most likely, the lady (or man) will ask you what type of coverage you%26#039;re looking for. She/he will then proceed to try different colors on you until a color best suits you. I am half-asian myself and rarely wear foundation. However, I do wear it sometimes on my nose and when I get pimples. I know Estee Lauder and Lancome have many shades to pick from. I%26#039;m guessing that since you%26#039;re asian, your skin tone is probably olive or yellow. Professional cosmetic brands most likely carry these colors. Good luck!|||asain skin has yellow undertones and its relatively oily

my bff is asian and when i do her makeup, my foundation makes her look red

also, asian skin tend bounce off a camera when wearing foundation.

drugstore foundation arent the way to go if you%26#039;re asian,

try mac, get studio stick foundation, and a good foundation brush

put it on LIGHTLY

then dab mac studio fix concealer

and finish with beauty powder and blotting powder in the t-zone

it should give you appropriate coverage as well as round out your skin|||not all makeup has pink undertones.. pick something with golden/yellow -warm- undertones. try (loreal%26#039;s?) true match makeup. they have shades which cater to all skin tones.

How old should you be before you start using make up? Without messing up your skin?

I am 39,with great skin. I have been wearing makeup since the 7th grade . I Started with just blush and lipgloss and eyemakeup then as i got older moved on to other stuff. As long as you practice a good skin care regimen, take off your makeup.also be careful in HOW you take it off..Dont rub and be gentle around the eye area. and don%26#039;t wear it all the time. I gave my face a break often. And I still do to this day. Use your makeup to enhance your features at a young age..then as you get older you can play with it more and get more dramatic results..then as you get more older like me..ya kinda go back to wearing less lol.|||your skin will get messed up, no matter when you start

but i reccomend 15-16. whenever you start high school is a good milestone.|||How old are you? It won%26#039;t mess up your skin unless you don%26#039;t wash it off at night-and that will lead to breakouts. Just don%26#039;t overdo it(ie-red lipstick is a no for younger users-to tacky until your older)|||Lip gloss and some eye shadow won%26#039;t damage you%26#039;re skin. Mascara, foundation, and eyeliner is bad if you%26#039;re under the age of 18.|||like 14|||20s|||makeup doesnt mess up your skin as long as you wash it off at night. i love wearing make up, i have a ton of it. i started wearing it like everyday when i was probably 14.|||13 or 14.

any younger and they aren%26#039;t teens yet so there really is no need for it.|||try bare minerals.. it%26#039;s a poweder foundation that is not so bad for your skin (provided your skin needs the coverage of foundation). As long as you don%26#039;t over do it, you can get away with a little blush- mascara %26amp; gloss no problem.|||like around 15|||Well i think that if you are in middle school, you shouldn%26#039;t be wearing any heavy foundations.....maybe some eye shadow and mascara if you like. As you reach highschool, light powder and some eye makeup would be nice. I didn%26#039;t start wearing makeup until sophomore year of highschool. So to answer your question, i think you should wear it from the middle school/ highschool age......but if you like the way you look without makeup, then you really don%26#039;t need it. Makeup is for you, not for anybody else. However, if you would like to enhance yourself a bit, makeup is always nice. Ohh and makeup does not hurt your skin as long as you pick an oil free foundation and make sure you wash it off at night!! I hope this helps ;-)|||i think you should start wearing makeup when your 12 but it costs alot|||13this awns er is from a women of 44

as long as you dint wear it to bed wash face soap and water
