I use St. Ives Apricot scrub and a moisturizer with salicyclic acid, but I%26#039;m looking for a new routine. I have combination skin. I also drink a good amount of water..|||Soap and water doesn%26#039;t work.
Products from the supermarket like Neutrogena and Clean %26amp; Clear are basically soap and water, despite all the advertising and hype.
They also contain harsh chemicals. When I used Clean %26amp; Clear, my face would turn red directly after application.
I would also discourage anti-bacterial soap.
You don%26#039;t ever kill 100% of the germs and the dead germs are left behind in your skin. When new germs come, the new germ can pick up information about the dead germ through transformation. With that information, the new germs become resistant to the antibacterial soap.
I%26#039;ve never used St. Ives before, though. But I wouldn%26#039;t scrub your face too hard with all the exfoliating peach pit bits in there because that irritates the skin. You%26#039;re supposed to gently massage your face in small circular motions, according to my Mary Kay consultant lady.
I use Velocity facial cleanser and moisturizer from Mary Kay, which is gentler on skin and efficient in clearing up pimples.
And my skin is also combination.
Basically, moisturizing your skin daily is the most important part in caring for your skin. Overdrying can cause you to break out more because your body will produce more oils to compensate for the dry skin.
Also try to use a moisturizer or foundation with an SPF of 15 or higher to fight sun damage.|||I use dial anti-bacterial soap..its pleasant smelling and works great|||I use Biore Ice Cleanser%26amp; Astringent and I love the cool refreshing feeling I get from it, also I have combination skin and my skin has started to clear just from using only those two thing, i use only moisturizer at night, so hope that helps a little bit|||I am completely dumbfounded by all the beautiful young ladies who smoke! They are paying outragious prices to damage their health and quite possible kill themself in the end. If you smoke don%26#039;t bother trying to convince us you really care about your health and skin. If not tripple fish oil pills help as well as lots of water, and also using the saunna daily will benefit you too. Good luck!|||i use neutrogena
always moisturize.....keeping your face clean comes from moderating what you eat in which helps for losing pimples... and keep drinking lots of water|||i wash my face with this face wash stuff i got from the store and my skin is really nice thats all i do and i drink lots of water ( =|||i use a heating mask but i spray with a liquid that it comes with from a brand of beauti control the product was on oprah magazine so i trust it and i put a rice mask or milk mask from dermalogic i have rwally good skin the heating mask is for all type|||I use a random combination of the Body Shop%26#039;s Tea Tree Oil cleanser and toner, followed by Clinique%26#039;s moisturizing gel once a day. I exfoliate every few days using Avon%26#039;s Arizona Hot Sands facial scrub and sometimes I%26#039;ll use those Biore pore strips.
But most importantly, I gave up fast food, soda pop, and potato chips/junk food... and my skin has never been better.|||how bout lotioon too?|||I use the same thing and I haven%26#039;t found anything better that St. Ives.|||I swear by GlyDerm and Crystal Peel. All were recommended to me by a nurse at a plastic surgeon%26#039;s office. It has made a big difference in my skin. The GlyDerm line has differing formulas based on your particular skin. The Crystal Peel I use for microdermabrasion at home and although it%26#039;s pricey, sometimes you can get a sale at Skin Planet - it%26#039;s much better than the cheap scrubs at the discount stores. Makeup: mineral makeup by Jane Iredale, it%26#039;s natural and doesn%26#039;t sweat off or clog pores. I just hunt around online and hit the sales.|||Try licking your fur.
