How do you preserve a rattle snake skin?

I was walking to my deer stand and i looked down and saw something that looked just like a rattlesnake. I looked for a second and saw that it was only a skin. Snakes shed skin i know that but i have never seen it all in one piece. They usually break apart. you can see the shape of the head and everything. It is about 5 1/2 foot long and has all its color to it. Does anyone know how i can preserve it from losing its color and breaking up?|||you don%26#039;t need to do anything, they last forever as long as they don%26#039;t get wet or eaten by bugs. |||Dry freeze it. Put it into a freezer with a lot of dry ice and then take it out and spray it with hair Spray and freeze it again for 49 hours. then put it in a controlled environment with a temp of 70 degrees under a flourescent lightbulb.|||Try putting it in some clear plastic or cling film to keep the dust off, if you do not handle it too much it will last for years, they do not rot so just keep it dry and away from damp conditions and it will be OK.
