How do you get rid of dry skin on your face?

i dont wear make up and i wash my face every morning but if i dont wash my face or wash it more than once a day it gets worse. i moisturize every morning. i do scrubs and facials twice a week. help me! any good products that worked for you?|||My dermatologist recommended cetaphil moisturizing cream, which I use all the time now. Make sure you get the cream, not the lotion. I get these terrible flaky dry patches and this stuff has worked like a charm. It%26#039;s also unscented and doesn%26#039;t have any dyes, so it won%26#039;t irritate your skin if you have allergies or exzema. If you keep having problems I would start to wonder about the twice weekly scrubs- they might be irritating your skin and causing more dryness.|||This is an excellent homemade mask for dry skin. It鈥檚 also recommended to reduce and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Mash a ripe banana with a drop or two of peanut oil. Spread it on your face and neck and leave on for about a half an hour. Remove with lukewarm water. You may apply this mask every day or every other day to promote softer skin.

The Cocoa Powder Mask Cocoa powder may be a popular baking ingredient but it also makes one of the best masks for a dry skin problem.

Prepare a mixture of two cups cocoa powder, two tablespoons dairy cream, and one to two tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. The consistency may have to be worked with and the ingredients altered slightly until you have a thick paste, one that won鈥檛 fall off too easily once applied. The olive oil will prevent the mixture from drying out prematurely.

The mixture is approximately twenty-five to thirty percent linoleic acid which is the ingredient that will do the job
