My birthday was on the 18th, and I sepnt all day at the waterpark and got a little burnt.
But I dont thik my face is peeling. I got a coldsore, and my I dont have acne, but my face is extremly dry.
Please give me some tips. I have a date tonight and I want to look like I dont have dry skin.
PS. I have been putting lotion on my face all day and it hasnt really helped.|||use really moisturizing lotions and creams.
put it on often.
don%26#039;t touch your face a lot and try not to rub it.|||All you can really do is put lotion on all over your face. Pack your face with lotion, and see if it helps. If not, try vaseline and keep it on all day and take it off right before your date, then start to get ready. If those don%26#039;t work, try caking on powder or makeup to get rid of the dry skin just for tonight. If that works, then the next day, keep applying the lotion and vaseline to your face. Put both those on before you go to bed, sleep with them, and that should help and it should start going away within a few days.|||1. Use a moisturizer.
A good moisturizer can help you to maintain moisture in your dry skin. Every time you feel your skin starting to feel dry, you should quickly apply a generous layer of moisturizer to make them wet again.
2. Eat more fruits and vegetables
These contains a lot of vitamins and minerals which are helpful for your skin. Try to consume at least 3 servings per day.
3. Baths
Hot showers always clear away the nutrients from our skin. That is very damaging to people with dry skin especially. Engage in shorter baths and use lukewarm water instead.|||If you have constant dry skin you can get a medicated cream for it. It has many names but the actual drug name is Ammonium Lactate 12%. It really works great! I have always had dry skin, but a tour in Saudi really dried me out. The Lachydrin, as it is usually called really helped my dry skin! You can buy an OTC version but it is only 5% and not near as effective!|||After you shower, before you dry off, rub your entire body with Johnson%26#039;s Baby Oil and let it air dry. As for your face, I would use aloe. It will take the %26#039;%26#039;burn%26#039;%26#039; out and some of the red. Good luck.|||try putting vasaline all over your face and leave it on all day. Then just wash it off before your date. Also Alovera and polysporn work well|||Aloha viera (I think I spelled that right) Works great for sunburns. It cools off your skin and helps heal it. Also put some vitamin E on your skin that should help as well.|||Use aloe vera. It%26#039;s a little goopy but it will make it feel so much better.
Also, use moisturizer on your face instead of lotion.|||Baby oil does not cost much. Before you dry while in the shower bath yourself with baby oil every time you bathe. It works for my husband.|||Try aloe because your skin probably started to get burnt and it is a really good!! It helps to moisturize and prevents peeling|||If you are burnt use aloe vera. Then use a lotion contianing skin protection like spf 15 in it. Esp moisturizing.|||Keri original oil is nice. Any lotion with heavy oils.|||Get Aloe lotion.|||Use olive oil, not TONS so you look greasy but just enough to coat that dry skin. It works wonders.|||put after sun on...I believe the company is Tropicana it%26#039;s got a sun on the bottle|||2 words...

and it doesnt make u look oily :)
hope i helped|||lemon juice, rub it on|||You can%26#039;t %26quot;get rid%26quot; of it in such a short amount of time, dry skin is a lifelong thing, but you can aide it and help hydrate it to keep it fresher, less dry and itchy, by simply washing with a mild moisturizing cleanser. Do not use soap, it%26#039;s what causes your skin to be extra dry. Neutrogena mild face cleanser works very well. Clinique has an excellent skin care line although a bit pricey. I use Aveeno soft face wash and exfoliate 3x%26#039;s a wk with baking soda. You work the baking soda in a circular motion over damp, but not wet, skin and rinse with cool water. Avoid hot water at all costs. Your moisturizer should be alcohol free, fragrance and perfume free and should be applied 2 x%26#039;s a day. Wash your face and apply moisturizer every night before bed. Do this whether you wear make up or not. If you do not wear it, use your moisturizer, like Aveeno, Lubriderm, Eucerin, Neutrogena, etc several times daily. Take a Vitamin E supplement and drink no less than 64oz of water daily. Your body is 72% water and without it, your skin is thirsty and dried out. Water does a million good things for you internally and externally and it will improve your skins hydration quality dramatically as well as the elasticity and tone/complextion. Follow these tips and you%26#039;ll see an improvement in a few weeks that will last a lifetime!!

Anatomy and Physiology major and I work in a day spa with esthaticians. And no offense to Lauren, I%26#039;m not being mean, but please please please do NOT exfoliate your skin twice a day til the skin peels off, this is not good or healthy for your skin and will cause rashing and rougher skin to replace the skin you%26#039;ve scrubbed off, it%26#039;s a body defense mechanism, like courser hair growing back when you shave
