How do doctors remove moles on your skin?

I have a mole on my back and a mole just below my shoulder next to my armpit which i want to have removed the one on my back hurts if i accidently scratch it etc but the other doesn%26#039;t its just not very nice to look at... I want them both removed but how is this done ( i live in the UK if that makes any difference)

Thanks|||Hi Stacey,

Your doc can do this right in their office; They freeze the spot then cut off with a razor (You won%26#039;t feel a thing). They then sent off the mole to see if it%26#039;s benign or not (Should take a mater of 2 weeks or less).

I%26#039;ve had 6 removed this way. Don%26#039;t be scared it will work it%26#039;s way out ;-)|||This is what they did when I got 3 moles removed:

First, they put on some pain stuff, so the shot wouldn%26#039;t hurt much.

Second, they gave me a shot with pain stuff. (It hurt, like a bee sting)

Third, they punched out some of the mole for a biopsy.

Then they put some stuff in the holes and a band-aid over it.

Fifth, I went back 2 weeks later and then they froze out the moles. It was COLD, but I am glad it%26#039;s over with! Good Luck!

Chuckles|||They do it much like the way they would take out warts/planter warts ect.

They will use aneasthetic to number the area (sometimes is a series of needles). After that they will either freeze, scrape, burn or cut it out.

If your getting any removed and its not in a place where a small scar will look bad (eg face) hen I would recommend getting it cut out. It takes on average about a week for the wound to close up completely and after that you are left with a very dull scar (I cant even notice mine anymore).|||i think they freeze them off

my friend had some moles removed and they freezed them!
