What can I put on my cat for skin irrritation?

I just gave him flea treatment last week, but he still keeps biting and licking his back. Now there is a huge patch of hair missing and it%26#039;s all red. Everytime he chews at it, it just keeps getting redder. Is there any kind of cream I can use to stop the irritation, so it can get better and his hair will grow back?|||In the future stay away from those over the counter flea treatments. They contain chemical inseciticides that can cause liver damage to both you and your cat. Instead use Feline Target Spray for Fleas as it is a herbal insect repellant that is safe to use on cats.

For your cat%26#039;s skin irritation, it sounds as if he may be allergic to the flea bites. There is a herbal formula that you can buy online that you spray onto the affected area called Ouch Away. It is an effective herbal extract formulation that soothes and softens irritated skin, fights infection and helps hair re-growth in affected areas. Here is the link for more info on it: http://www.petwellbeing.com/cat-skin-irr鈥?/a>|||just clean the area with mild soap and water. be sure to rinse it well with water, but don%26#039;t put anything else on your cat. next time get stuff from the vet and be sure to tell the doctor that your cat had a reaction to the last medicine you gave him..don%26#039;t worry this is fairly common
