I have a crawling sensation beneath the skin near my ankle on one leg. What is this the sympton of?

It happens on and off through out the day. It doesn%26#039;t itch very much Just a bit.|||a spider crawling up your leg....





on a more practical note try exfoliating and using a cream, if it keeps happening go to the docs|||i started experiencing it too. i told my mother about it, and she%26#039;s a nurse. she said it was normal but it still keeps bugging me and it%26#039;s hard to sit still. Report Abuse
|||Maybe poor circulation?|||worms from stomach trying to get out like asylum seeker|||i get it too! i i get the exact same thing i wish i knew. but i don%26#039;t think it is much to worry about !|||ever thought it might be one of the 1000%26#039;s of minute bugs that live on our skin?|||Probably circulation or a nervre Noyhing creepy like maggots or anything|||A spider has probably burrowed under your skin and laid it eggs.. the crawling sensation is them hatching|||crawly ankle-i-tus next symptoms your hair starts to fall out.

  1. Get an iron and b12 count. Low numbers lead to anemia eventually and can damage the myelin sheathing that protects the nerve fibers.

  2. Also std's can cause this. Also any kind of nervous system damage. Parasites can cause this too. Get a real blood workup and not just a CBC. Get a ferritin count, hormone level check and you can always start with a parasite cleanser over the counter before you build the doctor bills up.
