How can I get smooth and clear skin?

I%26#039;m 19.

I%26#039;ve got black heads on my nose and chin and I%26#039;ve tried everything and it doesn%26#039;t work. I%26#039;ve got like skin coloured spots on my cheeks, it%26#039;s like a spot under the skin (I almost never get proper spots) and I have no idea how to get rid of them. Please don%26#039;t suggest expensive products as I can buy them, I%26#039;d prefer things I could do at home with things around my house.|||1. Step One: Run your cloth under HOT water. Immediatly put it on your face and press onto it. The water (and steam) will really help clean out the dirt in your pores.

2. Step 2: WASH YOUR HANDS!!! Even if you don%26#039;t go through with this for a week, you can%26#039;t wash your face with dirty hands. You%26#039;re putting all the germs on your hands onto your face, which sadly, won%26#039;t get you anywhere. If you have a cleanser (you can just use neutrogena foaming facial cleanser, its decent and $4), wash your face after you remove the cloth. But this time you apply the cleanser without wetting your face first. So you would make a tiny %26quot;puddle%26quot; in your hands and squirt the cleanser in the puddle and put your hands together and wash your face. Don%26#039;t rinse your face in cold water afterwords, just rinse in warm water and PAT dry, but not all the way dry. This is obviously your cleansing part. If you don%26#039;t have cleanser, then just drink 3 cups of water, trust me it helps ALOT.

3. After you wash your face, get about 10 drops of lemon juice on your hands. Smear on your face for 10 seconds, but be CAREFUL: lemon juice is strong and if it burns only keep it on for 3 seconds. It breaks down the dirt in your pores that the cleanser missed. This is your %26quot;toner%26quot;.

4. Now we get 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir so its like a thin paste, and add one more tablespoon of sugar. Stir again and drain out SOME of the water. Then get your hands wet and then rub them on your face so you have a little bit of water on your face. Then scoop up the sugar and water and put if on one of your cheeks. Scoop again and put it on the same cheek. Then rub the sugar in circular motions on your cheek for 60 seconds. Then rinse off and repeat for the other cheek and forehead. This is your exfoliator.

5. For the next part, take your toothpaste (it can be the blue gel kind if you want, like crest, this one actually works best). Put a pea sized amount on your finger and smear onto your cheek and leave it there for 4 minutes. Repeat for the other side too. After 4 minutes rinse off in warm water, take your hands and run warm water and rinse off the toothpaste. Your face should feel nice and refreshed, and your face will feel cool, like its %26quot;breathing%26quot; for the first time, like a deep deep clean. This is your spot treatment.

6. Some of us have ance, but not pimples. So if you have bumps that aren%26#039;t whiteheads, like they%26#039;re red and WATERY, not filled with pus, which is totally different. If you are sure that they are just water filled, than scrape off the TOP skin, and squeeze all the water out. I know, you%26#039;re used to hearing %26quot;dont pop it, don%26#039;t pop it!!!%26quot;, but since it%26#039;s water filled you have to trust me. Squeeze all the water out of the bumps, because the water is infested with bacteria, who%26#039;s population DOUBLE EVERY TWENTY MINUTES, so if you have 1440 bacteria, in an hour, you%26#039;ll have 11,520 in ONE HOUR, so squeezing help to get out the bacteria. Then you can smear the toothpaste on and leave it on for 30 seconds, and rinse off. You%26#039;ll wake up the next day and have no idea that the red bumps were there in the first place! I guarantee it! This is a second spot treatment.

7. Last but not least, splash cold water on your face. The reason this is last is because if weren%26#039;t following directions earlier and splashed cold water on your face, your pores would close. Water and pores is like a key, hot water unlocks, cold water locks. Doing all of these steps with open pores will get almost all of the dirt and bacteria out, thus keeping your skin clear. Do this everyday for a week will bring you happy healthy pretty skin!

[edit] Tips

* Depending on your skin type, you might not get clear skin in a week, but your skin will look better.

* Do this AT NIGHT, right before you go to bed. When you sleep, the stuff that was on your face will take full effect, boosting power.

* Drink at least 5 cups of water a day to flush out toxins and extra oils.It will help boost the effect.

* Keep your hair out of your face! And don%26#039;t use any makeup that covers your cheeks, forehead, chin, or nose, so only eye makeup. If you use foundation it stores even more bacteria. And besides, when you try this for a week, you won%26#039;t need any! Show off your new and improved face!

* It also helps if you exfoliate in the morning and night, but don%26#039;t do any of the other things more than once a day of you%26#039;ll mess up the routine.

* Even when you get clear skin, its a pretty good idea to stick to this routine every night so you can be sure that you%26#039;ll keep your skin clear. After a while the routine doesn%26#039;t seem like much (it really isn%26#039;t) and you%26#039;ll be looking foward to it!

* Don%26#039;t forget, you still are wonderful and amazing person even without the world%26#039;s clearest skin! Don%26#039;t forget, don%26#039;t compare yourself to models and people on TV, because their faces are caked with makeup. NOBODY has super flawless skin. It really is litera|||Have you tried those exfoliating hand gloves, they work wonders. just put a little bit of soap on it and gently scrub your face. do this about three times a week, no more otherwise it takes out the skins natural oils and lot of layers of dead skin so your skin might start to flake or be very dry.

You can buy them anywhere like boots, superdrug, tescos, sainsbury%26#039;s practically anywhere. and they cost about 拢1-拢2.50 Good luck|||1. Be healthy! Exercising regularly gives you a beautiful healthy glow, and can actually improve the condition of your skin! Drink lots of water (8 cups a day) to help your skin to be healthy, and try to eat healthy, too. For example, don%26#039;t eat loads of fatty, greasy foods like fries and burgers.

2. Go to a chemist, supermarket, or beauty shop, and buy make-up removing wipes, cleansing lotion, toner, moisturizer, and facial scrub. Make sure you get them for your skin type, eg. sensitive skin, dry skin. As long as it is a reputable store, their own brand should be cheaper, but the same quality as expensive brands.

3. Wash your face with WARM water every morning. Then, clean your face with the cleanser. Rub it in circles all over your face for about 30 seconds and rinse off. Pat your face dry with a towel and apply toner with cotton wool. Apply moisturizer after the toner( while skin is still damp with toner). Next, apply your make up.

4. Take off your make up with the wipes every night before you go to sleep. Wash your face with cold water again, use toner, and moisturizer.

5. Make an emergency zit kit including a zit cream that has salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide, a cream that reduces redness, a concealer stick, and translucent powder (the powder should absorb excess oils on your face). Of course, this is completely optional, but very useful.

6. Wait a few weeks; you should notice that your skin becomes smoother and clearer!

7. Remember if all else fails, go see a dermatologist. Ask about Acutane as well (it works like a miracle! But there are side effects, though. They depend on the person and their body).

Tips

* Drink lots of water (8 glasses a day) to help your skin to be healthy, and try to eat healthy too.

* Make sure your hair is always clean because grease from your finger or the front of your hair could be making your skin oily.

* If you have spots, don%26#039;t pick them or squeeze them. Leave them alone. However, some zits need to have the cover or %26quot;top%26quot; to it taken off. But please, don%26#039;t overdo it. Don%26#039;t tear up your skin trying to get the top off a zit! If you gently squeeze after doing so, the pus will come out of the zit, unclogging the pore. After you do this, put the cream or gel with the benzoyl peroxide in it on top of where the zit used to be. This can possibly clear a zit right up!

* Try this quick fix for your blemishes! Obtain equal parts water and baking soda, and mix it together! Apply with a regular-size Q-Tip directly on the pimple. Do not rub in. Will dry zit and decrease redness. After mixture is dry, apply a toner/cleanser/moisturizer. This is optional, but can help your skin feel smoother.

* Make a routine. Exfoliate once a week with normal skin, and twice a week for oily. This keeps the skin fresh and helps to reduce black heads. Also try using a facemask once a month.

* If you have oily skin use a bit of vinegar mixed with water, seeing as the vinegar can be too strong. Rinse your face with this mixture 2-3 times a day. May burn around infected areas and zits and/or pimples.

* Try not to touch your face, the oils from your hands can easily clog pores.
