What can I put on my cat for skin irrritation?

I just gave him flea treatment last week, but he still keeps biting and licking his back. Now there is a huge patch of hair missing and it%26#039;s all red. Everytime he chews at it, it just keeps getting redder. Is there any kind of cream I can use to stop the irritation, so it can get better and his hair will grow back?|||In the future stay away from those over the counter flea treatments. They contain chemical inseciticides that can cause liver damage to both you and your cat. Instead use Feline Target Spray for Fleas as it is a herbal insect repellant that is safe to use on cats.

For your cat%26#039;s skin irritation, it sounds as if he may be allergic to the flea bites. There is a herbal formula that you can buy online that you spray onto the affected area called Ouch Away. It is an effective herbal extract formulation that soothes and softens irritated skin, fights infection and helps hair re-growth in affected areas. Here is the link for more info on it: http://www.petwellbeing.com/cat-skin-irr鈥?/a>|||just clean the area with mild soap and water. be sure to rinse it well with water, but don%26#039;t put anything else on your cat. next time get stuff from the vet and be sure to tell the doctor that your cat had a reaction to the last medicine you gave him..don%26#039;t worry this is fairly common

Could you tell if someone was wearing cow skin Uggs opposed to sheepskin?

I%26#039;m just wondering...

I want to buy my daughter a pair of uggs, and this website has cowskin uggs (i know they are not authentic) and I just want to see if there is a huge difference?|||I%26#039;m not an ugg snob (if you were to show me a pair of emus and uggs i wouldn%26#039;t be able to tell the difference:) but uggs are made with real two faced sheep%26#039;s skin. When the sheep is killed they leave the wool on the skin so one side is the sheep%26#039;s hide which is a very soft material that can%26#039;t be replicated by cowskin and on the other side is wool which for the fake ugg is fake and you won%26#039;t get the same feel. If you want to get your daughter cheaper boots look for boots that still use sheepskin.

Why is drinking water so good for your skin?

idk...it doesnt seem like it would do anything, but im always hearing to drink it for a healthy complexion. i dont get it...its just water!|||is very important because your skin drink it water prevents to age sooner, it flush away all chemicals %26amp; toxins so your blood is clean %26amp; obviously your skin would reflect it .your skin is like a flower or a plant if you don%26#039;t put water it became dry life less so you need it everyday to achieve a bright healthy glow .|||Your body is about 70% of water and water hydrates your skin. H20 is the code name, it%26#039;s got hydrogen and oxygen in it. Oxygen is what we inhale, I%26#039;m not sure about hydrogen. It%26#039;s a good thing you know that water is good beneficial for you to obtain that healthy skin complexion but your life depends on it too. A lack of water for 5 days will cause your body to wrinkle and your skin cells to open up because of the lack of moisture. If you were out in the sea stranded, would you drink or eat first? Definitely drink water because your body needs that pure moisture BUT it has to be boiled, especially since you%26#039;re in rough physical conditions, it HAS TO BE boiled. Salt water will make your skin even drier and if you eat first before drink, your body will crave for water even more. I believe you will be more vulnerable and immune from eating before drinking (if say you were out in the ocean and the only thing there was food and from drinking salt water)|||Because it gets rid of waste and toxins (when you pee) and it hydrates you body. You body is like almost 100% water and when you sweat and stuff, you lose it and you don%26#039;t want your body to shrivel up? do you!

drink water!|||Drinking water helps clean your body of toxins that can give you bad skin. And you%26#039;re more like 70% to 80% water, btw. =)|||Yes...but your body is 99.5% water to begin with.

My two year old daughter has very sensitive skin. What is a good shampoo and body wash for her?

I use Purex free and clear laundry detergent as well as fabric softener. You need to look for things with no dies or scents to them.|||We use Dr. Bronner%26#039;s Magic soaps (unscented baby mild). Made with pure castile soap %26amp; organic oils. No parrabeans, sulfites or any other junk that can likely cause irritation. Its also $9 at Target for a huge 32 oz bottle. This will last you 6+ months for your whole family because it is really concentrated! The other great thing is this works wonders using as both shampoo %26amp; body wash.

For moisturizer for the family we use unrefined, organic pure coconut oil. We buy it at Whole Foods in a big jar for $5 (14oz 365 brand). Coconut oil is the best because it penetrates the cell shaft of both hair %26amp; skin which petroleum based moisturizers do not. A little goes a looong way with this! Stick to the simple stuff and your Daughters irritations will disappear!|||I use Aveeno on my baby. But even with that, I only use it every other bath time, unless she is visibly dirty. It%26#039;s really easy to dry out the skin, and we germaphobes have a tendency to over wash ourselves. :) Cetaphil is another extra-gentle cleanser that I use, but it%26#039;s not tear-free so you have to be sure not to get it in the eyes.|||I second the Aveeno. I use the Target brand, it%26#039;s the same formula and it%26#039;s cheaper. It%26#039;s a combo body wash/shampoo so you can use it for both. We use the All sensitive skin laundry soap. If that doesn%26#039;t work she should be seen by a doctor.|||Try Savon de Marseille from Le S茅rail The French Soap Store (www.frenchsoapstore.com). Can vitamin e cream cause rashes on the skin?

After using the cream for about 2 to 3 days, my skin started to become itchy and red.|||Is your skin very clean when you apply the cream? When you apply something that is very thick or greasy like vitamin e, it can trap the dirt on your skin and block the pores. Make sure your skin is spotlessly clean first before you put the cream on.

Can the acid in our stomachs burn our skin?

I%26#039;m curious to see if the hydrochloric acid or whatever it is called, if exposed to our skin on the outside could actually burn us. I thought it kind of ironic how what%26#039;s inside us can have the capability to seriously harm us.|||It could indeed. The reason why the stomach doesn%26#039;t dissolve itself is that a mucus layer protects the stomach lining, and this is much more acid-resistant than the tissue itself. However, although it dissolves slowly, it does dissolve, and must be periodically replaced. Cells in the stomach lining, understandably, multiply quickly to replace lost ones.

Interestingly enough, though, the hydrochloric acid in stomach acid is at a concentration of about 0.1 M. If you dilute reagent grade HCl to 0.1 M and dip your finger into it, it shouldn%26#039;t hurt (unless you have an open wound in which case it will hurt like crazy, or your skin is sensitive). At this level of dilution, it is referred to as an %26quot;irritant%26quot;, not %26quot;corrosive%26quot;. However, stomach fluids contain enzymes in addition to the acid, and these enzymes are particularly good at breaking down proteins to short peptide chains.|||Yes, it can. You%26#039;re right it is called Hydrochloric Acid.

Hydrochloric acid is around a pH 1 - 2, which means it%26#039;s a very strong acid.

hydrochloric acid is produced. this creates a ph level of 2. which does burn your skin which has a neutral ph level of 7. the reason why when you throw up your esophagus doesn%26#039;t dissolve is because the lining of the esophagus is basic and brings the vomit to become neutral as well. so yeah, bio is cool|||Yes It can . How damaging is a fake tan to the skin?

Hello.

I%26#039;m very pale. I think I%26#039;d look a lot better with a tan. However I cannot tan in the sun.

So I%26#039;m wondering, how damaging is a fake tan? I know it doesn%26#039;t cause cancer, but how damaging is it to the skin? How much would your face crease if you use it constantly? What is the best fake tan to use to prevent premature wrinkles?

Thanks in advance.|||Fake tan does not damage skin what so ever and it does not cause wrinkles either

My advice if your a first time fake tanner, is to use a tanning moisturiser such as St Tropez Everyday or Dove. It is a moisturiser with a hint of fake tan so it builds up, giving a natural and even tan.|||Fake tan is a safe option and wouldn%26#039;t case damage to your skin however recently beauty experts have been saying that if you put too much fake tan on your face it can dry out the skin and cause premature ageing/wrinkles however i think this might only apply to regular fake tan users. You can get products such as %26quot;The Face%26quot; by Fake Bake - 拢26 which are specifically designed for use on the face and contain ingredients which minimise appearance of wrinkles and contain anti ageing chemicals. It makes skin on the face extra velvety and smooth. Hope this helps xo|||I am assuming you are referring to a spray tan or a rub on tan from a bottle, all other tanning is unsafe, solarium%26#039;s are damaging and ageing and are just not worth it. Tanning preparation such as spray tans are OK they change the melanin in the skin over a period of hours, the only problem with these spray tans they do contain alcohol to make them dry quickly, so they are very drying, and in the end very ageing if you constantly keep having them. Dry skin builds up, why not just enjoy your natural skin, pale skin is fine, just concentrate on keeping it solft and smooth.|||unless you dont use tanning bed then nothing will happen.

i personally think the moisterisers that have a tint of self tan are best as it builds up a gradual natural tan. and its easy (:

What is the best foundation for acne prone skin?

What foundation will give good coverage and not cause break outs?|||mineral powder.

there are many different brands. make sure you look at the ingredients, and don%26#039;t buy it if it contains talc or bismuth.

i use physician%26#039;s formula, it%26#039;s a really good cheap brand.|||Have you considered a mineral makeup? I switched from bare minerals to kms mineral essentials because the bare mineral product contains bismuth and it irritated my acne as I hear it has irritated others.

Kms contains zinc oxide and it is known for it%26#039;s healing properties. My skin healed within a week or so of use and I haven%26#039;t had any issues since.|||none, go natural and give skin a chance to clear up and drink at least eight 8 oz. glasses of water p/day...

its pretty pricy, but i had really bad acne so you dont want anything liquid on your face. Now my acne is gone, but i still have scarring, so its still good to use to cover up scars. It has zinc oxide in it which is good for people with acne as well.

I reccomend getting the starters kit. It comes with three different types of brushes, a conceler/foundation, 2 bronzers, and a mineral viel to make everything look balanced out|||bareminerals!!! a mix of bare minerals and proactive is what cleared up my skin!|||First of all you want to get an oil-free foundation that does not clog your pores (otherwise you can breakout really easily). What i do that helps me the most and looks more natural is an acne free concealing stick (to cover your pimples and treat them at the same time) and an oil free face blending pouder. this will give you a fresh and healthy new look along with even skin tone that doesn%26#039;t look fake. All of these products can be bought from clinique. I would suggest going in and getting your make-up done by the professionals so they can find your correct skin tone and everything matches. This is free (the make-over) and quick so it%26#039;s worth the time!!!

Hope this helps!|||Anything that is Oil free. Try Estee%26#039; Lauder%26#039;s double wear.|||almay products.

What is the best way to relieve itchy skin?

Lately, my arms and legs have been really itchy. I took an antihistamine because it might%26#039;ve been allergies because the weather is getting warmer, but they didn%26#039;t help!! While you are in the bath or shower, don%26#039;t use extremely hot water. Make it as cool as you can tolerate.

How do you know if you have a skin infection?

How do you know if you have a skin infection? Is it always obvious? Can an infection occur after it heals? NOTE: these are from small cuts|||Yes you can get a skin infection after it has healed.... at least, healed on the surface.

If it itches, if it has a discharge (clear or white liquid seepage, or worse, colored liquid seepage) It is NOT always obvious but those are good signs. If the skin is red or inflamed in any area, or looks different than the skin around it.

My son had a small cut on his finger (paper cut size). It healed up and we thought it was fine. Then I noticed that the skin was changing color slightly, examining closely I noticed a slight discharge and immediately took him to the doctor. I am glad I did. It was Staph, and if it gets in the blood it can kill.

If you are concerned, then there is probably a reason to be concerned.|||small cuts you shouldn%26#039;t be worried about. infections will look red (irretation) and kinda bumpy. with small cuts, infection after healing shouldn%26#039;t be a problem to worry about, as long as the wound is well cleaned. use hydrogen peroxide.|||SKIN infection theres rediness all around the cut. AND it swells too.|||Signs of skin infection:

redness, swelling, warmth, drainage, red %26quot;streak%26quot;, pain and soreness.

If you have none of the above, chances are it is not infected. Just keep it clean.

IF it has already healed, you may have a firm lump under the skin that is caused by a little scar tissue formation. But it shouldn%26#039;t be painful or red.

Hope that helps.|||If it never heals completely, has red borders and discharge; you have an infection or worse.

If you suspect GET TO A DERM!

I had a wart thing about the size of a quarter on the back of my left hand that I treated as a wart.

To make a long story short, it was skin cancer! FIVE surguries (the last was 12 hours) and 33 radiation treatments later I still have my arm and it works. It looks like a Pit Bull used it as a chew toy, but it works!

If these %26quot;small cuts%26quot; were self-inflicted you may have a %26quot;STAPH%26quot; infection and it can KILL YOU before you can say %26quot;OH S***%26quot;!

Just suck it up and GO TO A DOCTOR and you will know for SURE.

If you are fit without other crap, like addictions, then it is probably a shot and 21 days of antibiotics. If you have other issues it could also be AIDS in the early stages.

If there are NO red lines going out of the cuts try this. Buy some EPSOM SALTS, some gauze and tape. Get a bowl and dump a cup of ES in the hottest watter that you can stand. SOAK the cuts for 20 minutes and then make a compress of ES; COVER the cut BIG TIME with ES, apply gauze and tape it. ES will suck the infection out overnight if it can (the gauze will be NASTY in the morning). Then apply polysporen with a dressing and hope for the best. If you don%26#039;t see significant improvement in 3-5 days....GO TO THE DOC!

Good luck|||I never had one that I know, but I%26#039;m assuming you will know (unless it%26#039;s really deep but that%26#039;s rare)|||Yes it can develop a infection... and if it is different color texture, etc then it is not normal

What is the best type of sunblock with self tanner in it for someone with fair skin who burns easily.

I%26#039;m going sailing with my sister at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. I wanna look less pale, but I still want to protect my skin from the sun.|||I would definitely recommend using a separate self-tanner to suntan lotion. Otherwise you will miss bits and end up with uneven, streaky tan.

With any fake tan, avoiding streaks, sweat marks, and buildup on knees, elbows, and ankles is essential.

I use St-Tropez, which is expensive, but worth it (bronzes without being orange). Apply your fake tan just before bedtime, according to the manufaturer%26#039;s instructions. I make sure I exfoliate, especially knees, elbows, and ankles.I then moisturise all over, especially my knees, elbows, and ankles. I then apply the fake tan all over - mine is coloured so I can see where I have missed or where it is uneven (VERY important). I wash it off, and then sleep either naked or in a cotton t-shirt (watch out - they can stain).

If you want to build gradually, try the St Tropez everyday moisturiser, but still follow the above instructions. It isn%26#039;t coloured though, so you won%26#039;t see where you went wrong until it is too late!

Suntan lotion must be a separate entity or else it looks awful - from experience. Go for a high factor (20-30+)- just because you have bronzed skin from a fake tan doesn%26#039;t mean that it is less likely to burn.

Sounds like you have a sensible attitude towards tanning. Faking it is better than risking skin cancer!|||Avon All The Way Or Banana Boat!!

How can I restrain myself from scratching my skin?

Also to stop yourself scratching wear soft gloves, if it really itches you could try slapping it... thats what i do hope it helps x|||If you get itchy, try to relax and not get aggitated. Should women expect to be taken seriously when they dress to show off a lot of skin?

Dress however you want, but should you expect men to think of you as anything other than sex object when you dress in tight or revealing clothes? We%26#039;re already ready to pounce it%26#039;s not like we need any extra inspriration.|||No they shouldn%26#039;t but they do.

This is their attitude: I%26#039;ll show off as much skin as I can because I want men to notice and stare, but if they dare to stare, I%26#039;ll be really mad.

Go give a hungry man food and see if he refuses it.

Women do that sometimes. They give us %26#039;food%26#039;, and reprimand us for trying to eat it. What then is the food for?|||Women who dress in a very revealing fashion are trying to use their sexuality to get what they want. This implies that they aren%26#039;t able to actually do whatever it is they%26#039;re trying to do, so they take the easy road with it. Women, there%26#039;s a reason you%26#039;re not taken seriously when you dress sexy, and that%26#039;s it. It%26#039;s not because men can%26#039;t control themselves, most of us can. Stop flattering yourselves, because it doesn%26#039;t usually work, only a few men really work like this. But y%26#039;all want to think that it%26#039;s just the men who are only thinking sexual thoughts about you (some of you anyway). Tone the egos down.

T-Minus, don%26#039;t tell them that %26quot;we%26#039; already ready to pounce,%26quot; that just adds fuel to their fire. Most of us can control ourselves better than that. I%26#039;m actually turned off by a woman wearing very revealing clothes in public because it shows she can%26#039;t get anything done otherwise (it implies that anyway). Modesty is better.|||I used to walk around in very revealing clothing, and I got the exact attention I was subconsciously attracting. I know it was because I thought that kind of attention from men, meant I was attractive. I realize now having a daughter that it%26#039;s the wrong kind of attention and you really aren%26#039;t taken very seriously.|||a woman should not be punished for your inability to control your behavior around her. if you are a mature, adult, you should be able to treat a woman wearing a low cut top and tight fitting clothes with the same respect you%26#039;d treat your mother, grandmother, sister, or any woman that isn%26#039;t wearing, what you consider to be revealing attire.|||The difference between boys and men is in their ability to control their basic urges. It isn%26#039;t too much to ask, is it? FYI, women do not dress thinking of how it will effect you, we are putting on things to please ourselves. And if you make an error in judgement of underesteemating a sexy woman, you will live to regret it. I promise you that.|||I dress in tight and revealing clothes, but that only cause its what I now feel comfortable it. I%26#039;ve had two kids and am very proud of the weight I lost afterwards. I like feeling atractive cause I know how it feels to be ugly. That being said 90% of the time I%26#039;m taken seriously and all the other times I don%26#039;t let it bother me.|||%26#039;We%26#039;re already ready to pounce%26#039; so you are saying that you are a rapist? Normal human beings control themselves. UYep women can wear whatever they want as can men but it doesn%26#039;t give people the right to %26#039;pounce%26#039; which is rape.

If you found me a sex object, that%26#039;s your problem.|||It depends on the setting. I wear formfitting clothes to work, but nothing excessively sexy, and I get taken seriously there. If you%26#039;re going out to a club dressed to the nines, don%26#039;t expect much seriousness from anyone.|||they have the right to be taken seriosuly, but you have to kidding yourself if you think thats the case. personally i take people seriously no matter what their wearing.|||Yes we should I like to wear tight clothes that is the style and it looks good, would you rather see us in loose grandma pants that go up to our belly button?I think not !|||Check out the first first few min%26#039;s on this link it%26#039;s talking about exactly this

Is it possible to have mold grow on skin?

I shower with my watch on and never take it off, last week I took it off and there was something on my skin that looked like black mold. I know what mold is and deal with it in my job but on skin..Will this make me sick?|||The black was probably a chemical reaction between your watch and the chlorine in the water. Chlorine causes some metals like nickel (a common alloy) to breakdown. Should not make you sick but could cause skin irritation. Might be a good idea to take your watch off when you shower.

After a bad sunburn, your skin starts to peel, is there an easy way to make your skin stop peeling?

I%26#039;m looking for a way to fix this without buying products, something natural.|||The peeling skin is burned skin that is sloughing off because it was greatly damaged and has become dead tissue. Your skin is constantly shedding dead tissue, but usually you don%26#039;t noticed this (unless you skin is very dry) because it comes off in such small pieces. Most definitely moisturize; the burned area of your skin is highly susceptible to drying out because that top layer of your skin that helps with moisture control has been badly damaged.

After a few days when the burn isn%26#039;t quite so fresh, try gently exfoliating the burned area. You don%26#039;t even have to be very thorough the first time around; your goal is simply to assist with your body%26#039;s process of getting rid of all of that dead skin. Don%26#039;t go in with the intent of scraping it all off once and for all. Go in several stages over a few days and let your body take care of the rest.

However, the more you moisturize, the less peeling skin you will generally notice. This being because that burned area is so prone to drying out that if left unmoisturized, some lesser damaged skin will become so dry that it too will join in with sloughing off when it might not otherwise.

I once burned the top of my cheeks and nose very badly after spending a day hiking under the bright California sun (me completely forgetting about a little thing called sunscreen.) I was on a mission trip with a group of friends and wasn%26#039;t able to really get good access to any treatment for the burn. Others who were also burned used tea bags on the burns (me being skeptical, I skipped out on the tea bags, though I later found out that they have been scientifically proven to help) and said that their burns seemed to be improving pretty quickly.

Not to long ago, I acquired a similar burn once again (though it wasn%26#039;t quite so severe.) Remembering that trip to California, I let wet tea bags soak over the burned areas and used moisturizers (ones specially made for treating sunburns, mind you) nearly obsessively. I also went with gently exfoliating the skin after the first couple of days. The result? Virtually no visible peeling skin. Needless to say, I was very pleased that redness was the only sign that I had been burned, with none of that unappetizing peeling skin. Though please note that this burn was relatively mild and that I cannot guarantee the exact same results for more severe burns.

For natural treatments for your sunburn, go with letting teabags (make sure it is in fact real tea and not just herbal tea, as I think that does make a difference in how it will help) soak over the burned area, using moisturizers (if you can, try to stick to ones that say they are okay for using on your face), and perhaps simply a damp paper towel for the exfoliating part (remember, gentleness is the key.) Good luck!|||In addition to moisturizing, I would try some gentle exfoliation to remove the peeling skin. I usually buy products for this, but I%26#039;ve seen things online where you can make a mixture from oatmeal, sea salt or other things from the kitchen. Salt may not be the best thing in this case if your skin is already irritated and sore.|||after youre burned you skin has to peel to %26#039;renew%26#039; itself. you can make it a little less noticeable by moisturizing...ALOT! the skin coming off is dry and flakey so moisturizer will help, but you%26#039;ll still peel. Try a thick cream instead of lotion.|||try aloe from an aloe plant|||no exfoliating previosly sunburned skin. you should moisturize several times a day.|||Aloe Vera is the best thing to use on sunburn. However, if you don%26#039;t want to purchase anything, just keep lubed up with a good lotion. Re-juvenating the skin is what you need to do.

What products do you use to keep your skin looking lovely?

More specific the better.|||If you%26#039;re looking for something less expensive, try proactiv.

You can get monthly subscriptions for a product that you use day and night. If you have mainly clear skin, you can just use it once a day.

If your skin entirely clears up, you can try cancelling your subscription to try to save some money and just washing your face daily to keep it clean.

Its not sade to use scissors.. the skin could be twisted in the hair and you could easily cut him.|||Hair mats need removing with special animal clippers. Don%26#039;t use scissors as it is very easy to cut the skin. Contact a dog groomer or ring a vet if you think he will need sedation.

What is the best prescrition for razor-sensitive skin?

Each time I shave my facial hair, whether by razor or trimmer, i get a severe skin irritation. I have tried all kinds of products but nothing really works. I really would appreciate any advice on what I can do to keep a smooth skin after shaving.|||Something they say for women (I know you%26#039;re not but.....) use a hair conditioner, something thicker that maybe is in a tube type of dispenser, as your %26quot;shaving lotion%26quot;. It makes the skin very soft and conditioned and shaves very smoothly and close. Don%26#039;t see why it wouldn%26#039;t work for you, too. Try it. I hope so much that it works for you.|||That%26#039;s one reason guys use after shave.

After shave uses an astringent to help soothe the skin and contract or close up the skin after shaving. It will also help to firm and tone the skin.

Try using Witch Hazel, which is also an astringent. It%26#039;s inexpensive and is available in any supermarket or drug store.

Splash a small amount between your hands, and then pat where ever you%26#039;ve shaved. It may sting for just a couple of seconds. You can towel it off after 10 or 20 seconds and it%26#039;ll feel real good afterwords.

There are some witch hazels (called hydrosols or hydrolats) that contain alcohol. Do not use one of these. You just want %26quot;drug store%26quot; witch hazel.

Good luck.

Can sunscreen actually increase your chance of getting skin cancer?

Of course everyone says wear sunscreen, but I read an article like a year ago that sunscreen could actually increase your risk of getting skin cancer because it prevents some important things from getting absorbed into your skin or whatever it is. Has anyone else heard about this?|||I have.

It prevents the sun%26#039;s rays from being absorbed, which is OK for skin cancer, but it prevents you from absorbing Vitamin D, which is an essential nutrient. Vitamin D helps PREVENT cancers, and lacking that puts you at risk for many different types of cancer.

I haven%26#039;t done enough research on this to find which is the better argument, though. I%26#039;m still checking things out.

But isn%26#039;t that just the way it goes. Everything causes cancer, it seems. Just a sidenote, don%26#039;t listen to the American Cancer Society. Not a nice corporation.|||well its gonna help me, i have vitiligo and if i dont wear factor 60+ i could get skin cancer in the blink of an eye, no pigmentation under those parts of my skin and pigmentation shields you from the sunrays ..

What makeup looks good with green eyes, pale skin, and some freckles?

Like does anyone have any makeup tips to enhance my green eyes? Like what color eye shadow should I use? Glitter? Eyeliner?|||You are pale, so blackeyeliner may look to dark for you. Try brown on bottom lashes. For eyeshadow, use a gold liner on your top lid. Do not cover the lid, just use a thin stripe across thepart of the lid that meets the upper lashes. Follow it around the inside of your eye ,(toward your nose), and down to the bottom line of lashes,(still toward the nose). Do nt cover the bottom with gold liner, just a dot toward the nose. Use brown mascara, and a bit of green mascara on the tips of the lashes. Make it suble, not wild. A natural mauve liner would look great on your lips. Smooth a bit of gloss on your lips, using your finger,(not a gloss applicator), becaue that would be way too much gloss. It%26#039;s pretty easy. Subtle is the key. I wish I had green eyes! Mine are very dark brown. Too dark for colored contacts to show up.

Good luck!|||I would say a light olive colour eyeshadow with avons curling mascara. Maybe a bit of concealer and a brush of blush. A very pale pink lipstick to top it offf and you ae good to go. I would say to use a light brown eyeliner on only the top eyelid and no glitter.|||Use a brown/black eyeliner, preferably a powder versus a stick. Add eyeshadow that has hints of bronze in it. It will really pop the color of your eyes without looking artificial. If your eyebrows are light, use eyebrow shadow a couple of shades darker than your hair. Use blush and lipstick with warm peachy/orange tones|||black eyline. a nice smooth line under and over your eye will make your eyes pop.

Make sure u wash ur make up off before bed...unless u want breakouts....And if u wear cover up,that cause more pimples if u keep it on over night,so to get all the stuff off ur face just use a hot towel a wipe it.

have fun!|||Light purple. You don%26#039;t want anything too dark since you have pale skin.

No glitter...you already have freckles so you%26#039;ll just be competing with them if you add glitter, and it%26#039;ll distract the eye. Skip the eyeliner and just use a lightly, slightly shimmery purple. Finish off with some dark brown mascara and a neutral lipstick or gloss.

**ADDED Details**

I notice a lot of people are saying blues and neutral tones and also dark colors...

First the dark colors. If you have dark makeup on pale skin with light hair and light skin, all you%26#039;ll see is the makeup, you won%26#039;t see anything else, and you want to bring your eyes out more since you have light hair and skin, they%26#039;ll be more noticable.

As for blues and neutral tones. They are a No. When you%26#039;re trying to play up your eyes you need a color that is the polar opposite of your Iris. In this case your polar opposite is purple, and since you are fair you would want a lighter purple. It doesn%26#039;t have to be pale. It could be a light-medium mauve color. When you do green, blue or other neutral tones with your eyes they%26#039;re just going to blend in. You%26#039;re probably thinking that%26#039;s what they%26#039;re supposed to do. No. You want your makeup to blend with your skin so it looks natural, yes. But you don%26#039;t want your eyes to not be noticable. And as always...less makeup is more. Also I said the brown masacara because dark is too harsh for your coloring.|||No glitter sorry. I would say a pale lipstick, lip gloss to make ur lips shiny, light dusting of powder (u never want the look that ur tryin to cover up stuff) maybe a little peach blush on the apples of ur cheeks, brown eyeliner, a little black mascara u don%26#039;t need much. It sounds like ur really pretty so i think you don%26#039;t need alot of makeup. You can use just a little. Or white eyeshadow just a little to brighten eyes!|||I believe it is Almay has makeup that enhances green eyes: eyeliner, eye shadow, and mascara. I have the eye shadow because I have green in my eyes and wanted to bring the green out at times.

I bet you are beautiful without it though.|||Alot of people use a dark eye liner under their eye to make whatever eye color they have pop out. Everytime i use it , it makes my eyes look like their light brown and i have dark brown eyes. You should also use your own eye color makeup. Both of them contrasting off of each other makes your eyes look outstanding.

What is the best way to remove hardened skin on the pads of my toes (namely big toes).?

I%26#039;m very certain it is not fungal or anything strange, but the skin under my right big toe has gotten very thick as opposed to the rest of my toes.|||It%26#039;s just a callous. Soak your feet in warm water and then use a file or pumice stone to sand it down. It might take more than one filing to get rid of it.|||get a foot file and scrape it off. they kind of look like mini cheese graters. Don%26#039;t put too much pressure or you%26#039;ll damage the good skin. For a smooth finish you%26#039;ll need a smoother file, check out the foot care isle in the drug store or somewhere like Wal-Mart they carry tons of these products.|||I%26#039;ve used a razor blade and also a fingernail file. You can file it down pretty good and then apply hand lotion to it every night. Using a soft soap in the bath helps too as opposed to a harsh soap.

What shades of eyeshadow look good against pale skin?

I have really pale white skin (like Nicola Roberts). What shades of eyeshadow do you think look good against it?

I have dark blue eyes too if that helps!

Thank you :)|||purple or blue love:)|||for everyday eyeshadow deffinately a shimmery lavender, this will really enhance the luminosity of your skin and your eyes. muted gold/beige/champagne color should look good as well.

For a more dramatic look go for Metallic silver, this will really make your eyes POP, and since you have been blessed with porcelain skin, you are one of the people who can really pull of a silver and rock it. Try black for the darker bit of the smokey eye, dark purple or navy blue.

definitely get some shimmer (or even some glitter) in there so it doesnt wash out your skin and make it look pasty. Plus it will really make your eyes stand out.

Hope that helps:)|||I have pale white skin and blue eyes too. I find that very dark blues look pretty. Avoid anything too sparkly or else it will make you look washed out. Light shimmery greys look good and for the daytime you could use a very pale brown/beige/gold.

Here are some links for some of eyeshadows I use that look good with pale skin and blue eyes:

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/cat鈥?/a>

This is great for creating lots of different looks. You can blend the shades to create a smokey eye look for the evening or you can use them on their own for a daytime look. For around 拢16 they seem expensive but you do get 4 colours so it works out about around 拢4 per shade which it great value.

http://www.clinique.co.uk/templates/prod鈥?/a>

In the daytime I use that eyeshadow in the shade %26#039;Beige Shimmer%26#039;. The shade %26#039;Foxy%26#039; would also look pretty with your colouring.|||Instead of black, smoky brown or taupe is nicer on pale skin. Otherwise, I think it mostly depends on your complexion. Does it tend toward the warmer side, often with auburn hair and ivory freckled skin like me, (in which case run, don%26#039;t walk, from pink. Bronze, brown, spruce, olive and *some* purples look great though)? Or are you more of a cool type? That soft and delicate look, with its ivory or soft beige skin tone, is good with grey, blue-grey,soft teal, slate blue, plum or cocoa. Soft pink, lemon yellow or champagne is good for highlighter.

Good luck. Isn%26#039;t this fun?|||i have reallllly pale skin too :)

Btw, never use blue. It dulls out your color. But it%26#039;s your choice. Use it at your own risk.|||Depends on the tones in your skin. How much do you think my authentic Tiger Skin Rug is worth?

It was made during the late 19th century, was owned by a diplomat who received it as a gift from the British Raj (or so I heard), and although it has a few holes caused by moth attacks and its tail is mostly gone by the same reason its in very good shape.

My 4 year old daughter has really dry skin. What can I put on to help it?

I have tried some lotions like the vitamin E lotions, extra moisturizing lotion. But her skin is still really dry. I was wondering what i could put on her to help with it. Or should i take her to the doctor.

Also concentrated Coco Butters work as well.

Jergins is good, but maybe not if her skin is severely dry.

Typically, A dense coco butter cream works well with my daughter.|||Coconut oil is good to put on her skin. You might want to decrease the amount of baths she has also, to like 3 times a week. The soap and water could be making her dry skin worse.

My son does best with Mustela%26#039;s Stelatopia cream (you can buy at Babies R Us), which would probably be best for all over moisture compared to my other examples, as it%26#039;s more of a lotion than a cream and goes on a little easier. My daughter does better on Eucerin%26#039;s original cream, very thick stuff, so harder to spread but great on dried cheeks. And when we go out in the cold or if they start breaking out in eczema patches, I layer on some of Eucerin%26#039;s Aquaphor ointment over the lotion as it gives it an extra barrier against wind and getting chapped. Both Eucerin products can be purchased at any drug store, grocery store etc.

Other things you can do is run a humidifier, keep bathwater warm but not hot and don%26#039;t let her soak for too long, increase her water/liquid intake and just keep reapplying the lotion a couple times a day until the symptoms start to subside.

If you think it could be eczema -- typically dry, raised and sometimes red patches -- it might be worth a trip to the doctor so they can identify it. How to get rid of red spots on skin?

I have some red spots on my skin and I don%26#039;t think they are from popping zits. So are they acne scars? How long until they go away?

They seem to be fading, but if they are acne scars how long will it take for them to fade out?|||Well they are probably acne marks forming into a scar. The down side of acne is that even after it is popped, it will leave a ugly reminder. I have sensitive pale skin, so the scars stand out even more than others.

What you can do is: The pimples you have just popped, put Neosporin on it so that it can prevent infection and heal faster. The other acne scars, you can put Vitamin E oil every night with a Q-tip. I believe Vitamin E oil helps the skin to rejuvenate and has healing qualities.

This has helped me tremendously and after a month you can see them fading.

It is going to take time, but I will guarantee you that, if you do put it on EVERY night, you will have a huge difference.

What are some good acne treatments for my skin type?

I have skin that gets dry, and I have oily skin sometimes. I have moderate/severe can%26#039;t really tell because I have seen people with Really worse acne then mine. SO, what are some good not really expensive acne treatments (like face washes, toners , etc) that I can pick up my local grocery store?

鈾櫕Libby鈾櫕|||I have dry and oily skin and my friend does too. So she made me try this stuff called Garnier Nutritioniste Nurtri-Pure with green tea.

Is it bad to leave salt on your skin?

This is just a sort of experiment because I am sick of having spots and nothing seems to work to keep them away. So I thought that if salt heals then it might help to put it on my skin after I wash. Is this bad, like will it dry out my skin? Please tell me if I should stop! I hate spots.|||This would definitely help your skin. If you have trouble keeping it on, then try getting a saline cleanser. I use one and it%26#039;s really great. It cleans your pores VERY throughly and leaves the skin soft and conditioned. It also helps any blemishes on the skin to heal.

Good luck.|||no its not bad i used the salt to it works actually ur skin becomes softer u think salt is gonna dry out ur skin on the contrary keep doing it it worked for me

Best over the counter lotions for my crazy skin?

I have lots of spots on my face from picking on pimples I should have left alone, and some brown patches, also the apple of my cheek (right where the bone is) is always bright red!

There are so many lotions who claim to even out skin tone, reduce redness, etc. But which really do work??

When baking chicken drumstick do I leave the skin on or off?

Any quick recipes ideas?|||I like the skin, so I leave it on. If you%26#039;re baking, the skin will serve as a buffer to the oven heat, making the inner chicken less dry. You can always pull skin after baking.|||When baking, especially at high temperatures, it鈥檚 always better to leave the skin on while cooking and either remove it afterwards yourself or let your family/guests do it themselves at the table. The reason is that high oven temperatures can cause chicken to dry out, even the dark meat. The skin will help protect the chicken from the high temperatures that can quickly turn it into something resembling a dried-out piece of shoe leather. Whatever fat is under the skin will melt during cooking, basting the meat as it cooks. The membrane of the skin will also provide a good shield to protect the meat from direct exposure to the heat of the oven. In cooking dark meat, you have more leeway than with white, but I wouldn鈥檛 take the chance of drying it out, especially if you are cooking for a hungry family.|||You can cook it either way. It just depends on if you like the skin or not.

I put salt, pepper, garlic powder on them and bake in the oven. When they are about done I put barbecue sauce on them and let them cook for a few minutes more.|||Leave the chicken skin on while cooking to preserve the juiciness of the chicken. Remove the skin prior to eating.|||I leave the skin on when I cook chicken..Then when it%26#039;s done I take the skin off. It just depends on if you like the skin or not.|||Either way the healthier way is with the skin off|||Skin is the best part. If I could, I would order a bucket of skin at KFC.

How about chicken lemon rice?|||well with out the skin it get dryer with its kinda greesyer sp*|||leave it on how about barbque baked chicken or shake and bake?|||on dip in some cilly souce|||either but i would take it off|||eather way i take it off

What clothing colors look good on olive pale skin?

and which ones I should not wear?|||bright clear colors look good - coral, hot pink, turquoise. bad colors are muddy tones such as gold, olive green, brown.|||Pastels always look great on pale skin, but because your skin has an olive tone I would suggest sticking away from blues, blacks, browns, grays, and purples.

Go with pale minty greens, kelly greens, and rosy peaches and pinks.

If you must wear a darker color wear a ruby, scarlet red. It will pop against your skin.

Overall stay with dilluted colors.|||Defiently green. Can you help me? http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind鈥?/a>

Is it dangerous to use lemons as a skin lightener?

By putting a fresh lemon on your face?

IS IT DANGEROUS?|||i dont think so its just a fruit|||I tried lemons but as a cleanser. I wasn%26#039;t too sure about the information I received but I went ahead and would wash my face and then wipe with lemons, wait a bit and then rinse the lemon off. It would sting and amazingly my face really cleared up. I never knew if it was all the special attention or the lemons. Then I was watching Oprah the other day and she had a woman on that recommended lemons for cleaning your face. I don%26#039;t know if they will lighten but they will certainly clear up your face. My skin got absolutely beautiful.|||Yes because lemons are the #1 proven cause of exzama|||I think u should contact a beuty parler and not on yahoo|||lemon will not make you lighter in general but it is used to lighten dirty areas such as knees and armpits, putting on a sensitive part like your face will not be so effective at anything unless your face has dirt and grime that is hard to get off, not recommendable!|||Look at Micheal Jackson, thats what he used, and it ate his nose off his face.|||They%26#039;ll dry your skin out...|||lemon juice is citric acid.

while i dont think the damage would be severe, there is a good change of drying out your skin and hurting your eyes.

if i was you i wouldnt risk it. there are creams you can buy from your cosmetologist that will do the same thing without the side effects.
